Contents of the update:

  • Maintenance for Chromecast built-in will be performed automatically when your network connection is available.

  • Improve the symptom where the music / sound may be skipped during long time playback when “KEY CONTROL” is enabled.

  • Support music playback from SCMS-T devices via Bluetooth during Wireless Stereo Function
  • Added Multi Room function via Google Cast.
  • Added LED-Lighting Interlock Function when using Wireless Multi Room/Wireless Stereo.
  • Supports music playback from external USB device when using Wireless Multi Room.

How to check Firmware Version

The remote control is required to check the firmware version. If the version is displayed as SYS 2.05, you do not need to update the firmware.

  1. Power on the unit
  2. Press OPTIONS on the remote control
  3. Press repeatedly to select SYSTEM then press
  4. Press repeatedly to select VERSION then press

How to Update

Network Update Instructions

The firmware of this Home Audio System can be updated to the latest version by connecting to the Internet via a wired LAN network.

  1. Press on the unit to turn it on and wait for a few minutes until UPDATE is displayed on the display.

  2. The remote control is required to update firmware. Please check the following steps to update the firmware.
    1. Press OPTIONS on the remote control
    2. Press repeatedly to select SYSTEM then press
    3. Press repeatedly to select UPDATE then press
    4. Press repeatedly to select VIA NW then press
    5. Press to select EXEC
    6. Press repeatedly to select YES then press

  3. Firmware update will begin. The front panel will display the update progress from 0% ~ 100%. During the update process, the unit will reboot twice and automatically power off to demonstration mode once update is completed.

  4. Press on the unit again to turn it on.

  5. Please check the firmware version of this unit, and confirm that the number of the software version is updated to the latest version.

Note

If DOWNLOAD ERROR / PUSH POWER is displayed during the update

  1. Press the button to turn OFF the speaker.
  2. Press the button again to turn ON the speaker.
  3. Wait for about 3 minutes or until network connection is completed, then check the Display on the Speaker.

USB Update Instructions

The firmware of this Home Audio System can be updated to the latest version by USB flash drive.

Note: It is impossible to be back to the previous software version after software update.

  1. Preparations for Firmware Update
    Before downloading the firmware, please ensure that your computer is running one of the following operating systems and prepare USB flash drive.

    Supported Operating Systems

    • Windows 10
    • Windows 8.1
    • Windows 8
    • Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 (SP1)
    • Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 (SP2)
    • Mac OS X (10.4) or later

    Note:

    • If you are using Windows 10, Windows 8.1, or Windows 8, please use it in desktop mode.
    • Operation is not guaranteed for all PCs installed with a compatible OS.
    • USB flash drive Capacity: larger than 256MB.
      Operation is not guaranteed for all USB flash drive.

  2. Download the Update File
    Make sure no program other than your Internet browser is running.
    Save the file to the Desktop of your computer (recommended).

  3. Prepare USB flash drive
    Note: Initialized the USB flash drive by the original manufacturer system.

  4. Copy the update files to the USB flash drive
    Insert the initialized (formatted) the USB flash drive into the USB slot on your computer and copy the update file to the root directory of the USB flash drive.

  5. USB flash drive Upgrade Instructions
    The remote control is required to update firmware. Please check the following steps to update the firmware.
    1. Press OPTIONS on the remote control
    2. Press repeatedly to select SYSTEM then press
    3. Press repeatedly to select UPDATE then press
    4. Press repeatedly to select VIA USB then press
    5. Press to select EXEC
    6. Press repeatedly to select YES then press

  6. Firmware update will begin. UPDATE on the display will blink and the update progress from 0% ~ 100% will be displayed. During the update process, the unit will reboot twice and automatically power off to demonstration mode once update is completed.

  7. Press on the unit again to turn it on

  8. Please check the firmware version of this unit, and confirm that the number of the software version is updated to the latest version.
