Question

System requirements to use the Memory Stick Formatter Version 2.4 software.

Answer

The Memory Stick Formatter Version 2.4 software works with the personal computers that are pre-installed with the following operating systems:

* Windows XP Home Edition
* Widnows XP Professional
* Windows Millennium Edition
* Windows 2000 Professional
* Windows 98 Second Edition

Note that the above operating system should be manufacture installed. Operations in an upgraded system environment are not guaranteed.

Compatible Memory Stick Adapter

  • MSAC-PC4*1 *2
  • MSAC-PC3*1 *2
  • MSAC-PC2N*1

*1: Quick Format function can be performed when Memory Stick Formatter Ver.2.4 is used with these adapters.
*2: Quick Format may not be executed properly when Memory Stick Formatter Ver.2.4 is used with these adapters to format Memory Stick PRO or Memory Stick PRO Duo.
