Question

Adding a program to the Start or All Programs menu.

Answer

1. Configure the operating system to show all files and folders.
2. Click the Start button, then click Computer.
3. In the Computer window, double-click Local Disk (C:).
4. In the Local Disk (C:), double-click the Programdata folder.
5. In the Programdata window, double-click the Microsoft folder.
6. In the Microsoft window, double-click the Windows folder.
7. In the Windows window, double-click the Start Menu folder.
8. Drag and drop the shortcut to the Start Menu window.

NOTE: To create a shortcut for an application, file or folder, right click on the icon, point to Send To, then click on Desktop (create shortcut).
