Other than Sony's Android TV / Google TV (released in 2013 and 2014)
If you encounter this error message "Due to internal error caused, internet browser will close" when launching YouTube app, please use the built-in internet browser on your TV to access YouTube temporarily via this URL https://www.youtube.com/tv#/ . To use the browser, you may refer to this article on How to access and use the Internet browser of the TV.
This issue is currently under investigation and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
For other YouTube app issues, it may be resolved by initializing the Internet Browser app using the following procedure.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Application.
- Select Internet Browser.

- Press OPTIONS on the remote control.

- Select Browser Settings.

- Select Delete all Cookies.

- Choose Yes.

NOTE: Once this issue occurs, it may continue to occur even after the temporary connection failure is resolved. The procedure above is the solution for such cases.

- Initialise the TV personal information:

Select [HOME] > [Settings] > [Customer Support]

Select [Initialize Personal Information]

Select [OK]
