I bought this lens together with the Sony A6400. I like the wide aperture of f1.8 as compared to the kit lens. It works well as it is like a 50mm. Very good for portrait but for landscape, perhaps 18mm or 20mm would be better for a APSC camera.

Bought this lens at a discount. Good to use with good focal length and brightness. Useful and practical for my purpose with OSS. The images are sharp and clear given the price of this lens.

I have the Sony A6000, I purchased this with the kit lens, I then purchased the Sony18-135, but wanted a prime lens, after watching all the reviews on YouTube, I settled on the 35mm 1.8 lens, and have not regretted it whatsoever, I take the camera with me whilst walking, and have taken some fantastic photos, plus I keep it in the front of my coat, to protect it from cold, and the size is very handy as well, love it.

The lens function well as claimed with beautiful bokeh. A little pricey compared to other 35mm lens but build quality is good & has optical stabilization.

Recent bought the Sony E 35mm F1.8. More than happy with quality of images from edge to edge. Great lens for evening and portraits and I would strongly recommend.

I bought this SEL35F18 for my a6300 about few months ago and I do found very useful for this. It is so convenient to carry everywhere as the size is small and light. The auto focus speed is fast, great bokeh, excellent sharpness and the image quality is wonderful. No regret to get this as my first prime lens for my photography path and I will continue to make good use of this.

I wanted a fast, prime lens for my α6500. I bought this lens after researching comparable E-mount lenses. Not only have I found the image quality to be excellent, but after less than 2 months I am less and less inclined to use the 16-50 zoom which came with my camera, even though it makes easier to take pictures.

This lens is the best one I've ever used. It can create clean and sharp photos in any light conditions. It can use a landscape as well as a macro lens. impressively versatile.I used the images taken by this lens as my desktop wall paper. Nice job Sony.

This is a good lens, but I think it is overpriced. I bought this lens and it is a good quality lens good for video and photos. I find it better for video than photos because this lens can be a bit soft (might just be my copy don’t have another lens to compare it to). If I were to rate the sharpness out of 10 I’d give it a 7-7.5 depending on the circumstances. It is a good focal length for walking around, especially for street photography. It is a fast lens that creates creamy bokeh and has quick AF. The lens is a little bigger than the kit lens so it is compact and does not take up much room. Good size I would say. It is overpriced in my opinion, but for the money you are getting a compact small lens, good focal length, fast aperture for good bokeh, and OSS.

As someone who is new at photography, this lens provides a great experience as a first lens. Its better than the starter kit one and worth the money if you want something better than the default.

Only a dabbler in photography but having this 35mm lens on a crop body sensor camera gives me a 1:1 with what I see. I did think of the 50mm Prime but as an indoor / general walk about lens this 35mm is small enough and gives great detail. Using it indoors is superb as it offers more than the 50mm for my needs.Works well with the A6500

Pros, Small lens with OSS, big enough aperture, nice bokeh, sharp photos when subject are near. Cons. I wish it was 30mm, also wish it was sharper when subject are further away, slightly high price. But, still the best lens I have and I will surely recommend.

Bought this 2 months ago. Picture quality is good. But found that when it is used in Auto mode, the aperture opens and closes with a very loud sound. Didn't expect an expensive prime lens to have this problem. Going to send it back to see what Sony has to say.

Really pleased with the product. Its 52mm equivalent on 35mm film camera has taken be back to my original Olympus with 50mm lens, and I am enjoying moving my feet to get great shots! Fast focus and lots of light in the lens is great
