Excellent sound system. It is getting rare to have a sound system that has CD/DVD player. While I have mp3 music files, nothing beats the quality of CD sounds with higher fidelity. Please continue to have such system for as long as possible, whether current or new models. Thank you.

I bought the Sony about a month ago and very pleased with it. Sound is good with great Bass. Lights I don't switch on that often but probably will when summer arrives and can get outside with it.

I researched lots of similar systems before going for the Sony -V43D. The V43D offers more choices for playing music and being a karaoke singer with discs, usb’s and downloads this came up trumps! I like the portability of the system and the ease of setting up. The instructions on setting up and various functions are easy to follow. They are on line. As I sometimes sing songs in a lower or higher key, the key change is ideal with one slight issue. If you use the key changer this will affect the sound and slight change of quality from singing in the original key. You have to increase volume and adjust if you sing next song in original key. Not a major problem as the controls are on the controller. The mic’s when used deliver a good sound with variations on the echo. Overall, a great sound and lighting with simple keys to control them.

Me and My brother was looking for a cheapest portable bluetooth home karaoke speaker that must comes with key @ pitch control and we found that the xp700 or xp800 was the one but not until we tried the sony v43! Apparently, this v43 amazed us so much especially the sound quality compared to the slightly pricey sony XP model. Surprisingly, It has stronger boomy dry woofer, very good clarities, very loud at max volume, convenience top karaoke and function keys and even better mic sound than the XP700! Dont get me wrong, XP700 is the best in its category but nothing can compared to power operated speaker in terms of sound quality.. same goes to other famous brand imo.. Portability? We suddenly forget about the portability after listening the sound came out from this v43! Haha... in fact, Although it is not battery operated, it is still light and portable for our home usages. But... The only downside for us about this machine is where the karaoke function key@pitch control will decreases the volume of the music when adjusted.. surprisingly its big brother such as the v73 and above won't have that swelling audio when using the function! (We bought it one week after the v43! 😅) So.. Recommended to buy its bigger brother such as V73 and above for someone that really loves karaoke or using lots of key @ pitch control during karaoke as the volume will not decrease whenever those key @ pitch control changed. That's all our pov of this speaker, if you are for budget mini home karaoke with good sound quality.. You won't go wrong with this speaker! P.s : Hope sony will continue selling and upgrade this type of speaker..

basically lfeature ook good, sound meet my requirements. One things I wandering are both side of disco light only show one red and 2 blue lights, what about the center blank space between 2 blue lights are there any lights supposed to blinking any lights

Good system for those who want something that plays in the background - stereo separation is limited (as it is a single tower speaker) and subtle but is present. In a 1000sq ft apartment, sound travels to other rooms effortlessly at mid volume setting (25). Surprisingly works well with multiple genres of music - tested (on audio CD) with jazz, classical, dance/EDM with heavy bass, guitar rock & pop/rock tracks reproduce vocals with clarity. Bass is strong even without 'MegaBass' enabled. DVD player - purchased in Malaysia so it is region locked to Asia Region 3.
