Memory Card File Rescue Software

Memory Card File Rescue will allow you to recover your important photos, music and movies you deleted by mistake, just by downloading software and following a few steps.

This software is free to download for Sony memory card owners.

What type of Sony memory media can be used with this software?
This software can be used on Sony Memory Stick Classic Series users (Memory Stick of 128MB and under). For other users, Memory Card File Rescue Software 3.1 which supports 3D files recovery is free to download.
Note: Defect or damage of a memory card itself cannot be recovered. 

What type of files can be recovered?
This software supports recovery of JPG (DCF), MPEG-1, MP4 (MPEG-4, MPEG-4 AVC), AVCHD file and other types of files, except:

• Game data, and content-protected music and movies
  Note:
  - This software analyzes FAT file system and recovers a file on a memory card regardless of file format where possible.
  - We do not guarantee a recovery of all data. Some file may not be recoverable due to its data status.
  - Recovered files will be stored in PC.
  

The following system environment is required in order to use Memory Card File Rescue software.

• Windows® 8, Windows® 8 Pro, Windows® 8 Enterprise
• Windows® 7 (Starter / Home Basic / Home Premium / Professional / Enterprise / Ultimate)
• Windows® Vista (Home Basic / Home Premium / Business / Ultimate)
• Windows® XP (Home Edition / Professional)

Note: The operating system must have been factory installed as the standard operating system for the computer.

Other System Requirements:

• Hard disk: 12 MB for installation of the software, 1 GB for recovery processing, plus sufficient space for recovered files
• Display: minimum resolution 800 x 600, high color (16 bit) or better

Note:

1. Log on with the Administrator account when installing Memory Card File Rescue software.
2. Even if all of the above requirements are met, correct operation is not guaranteed.
3. Operation is not assured on custom-built computers, computers with user-installed operating systems, multi-boot environments and multi-monitor environments.
4. Memory Card File Rescue software does not support Mac OS.
5. When using Memory Card from other manufacturers, correct operation of this software is not assured.
