Bough recently for my upcoming trip to Norway and I have it coupled with a Sony A6700

I've only had the camera less than a week and am really impressed. I've coupled it with a Sony 24-240 lens for my upcoming trip to the Norwegian Fjords.

Happy I bought this camera to replace my worn out NEX 6. Familiar menu structure from my Sony A77. Great additional functions and stunning autofocus performance so far.

A month now using Sony A6600. Amazing camera, sharp images and excellent photography.

Bought the a6600 recently; my first Sony & first Mirrorless. Fantastic little camera & exactly what I needed. Battery life is good so far. Although I haven’t used it too much so far the one gripe I do have is the Sony menu system seems quite complicated to navigate and use

I’ve used Sony since 2001, this is my fifth Sony camera and I’ve just upgraded from an A77 that I’ve owned nine years. Wow the advancement is amazing, I’ve only took a few sample shots to test it out but so far I am blown away with it’s capabilities

I bought this a few weeks ago so am still learning all the menus etc but already really impressed. Great manual functionality but also a very capable auto function which makes it a highly capable camera both as point and shoot as well as more professional photo/video.

After actively one month use a6600, I am so happy with the video output.

Excellent camera and light easy to use, with great results

Bought the 6600 to replace an old 6000. As a professional who carried heavy camera bags for decades, I needed something small but high quality for a trip to Italy. The images are so very crisp! The big surprise for me was the low light performance. Shooting in a church in Florence at ISO 3200 gave me beautiful images with almost no noise and were wonderfully sharp when viewed at 100%. I use the Zeiss 16 - 70 f4 lens.

A week ago, I bought the a6600 in the shop with the stunning 16-35 mm lens.

Upgraded to this from a dslr its a fantastic little camera very easy to get to grips with great lens 18.135 I also got the adapter for my a mount lenses I'm very happy with my gear

Ideal size when used with Tamron 17-70 2.8 or similar, feature packed, great results, perfect. Only small downside is the thin narrow flap/cover access to charge point in side, doesn't feel substantial.

Great pics/ compact very easy to use comfortable in yor hand great grip and battery life

Bought to replace Sony A590 which is out of date and old technology

Waited a while to get this camera for price wise, was surprised when the box turned up with how small it was and once out of the box how small the camera is in the hands. Holding it tho is really nice, fits in my hands perfectly and having the larger battery it lasts a long time shooting too. the image quality out of this camera is brilliant and the auto focus is so fast and eye AF is amazing on people and animals. Really well made, the menu system is a little confusing to someone who doesn't know anything about photography coming to this camera for a starter camera but once you get using it, you pick it up pretty quick.

Now upgrading from a6000 to A6600 as have learned the benefits of mirrorless cameras for the photos of a lifetime.Superb upgrade longer battery life more images means less hassle on holiday adventures, camera stabilisation means better photos.The camera is even better to hold as the battery compartment is slightly larger.I like the flexibility of the e mount lenses ,the zoom choice means fewer lenses to carry especially when having to travel light.Ideal novice/enthusiast camera for safaris,birding and photography in general.

I recently upgraded my old camera system (Canon T1i). I have been a die hard canon fan for years. I did some research and found I was really impressed with the Sony a6600, and took the plunge. I love it and I can't wait for my Alaska cruise next month. Now I get to look at accessories as the budget allows.

I bought this 4 days ago and it has a major problem with it sound recording during video recording. For the first 5-8 seconds the sound is ahead of the motion and then starts breaking up, and then disappears altogether. It is back to the store to have the body replaced and I hope the new body is without glitches.

I bought this today and I am so happy with it and I recommend everyone to buy sony mirrorless camera.

Great for 4K Video, Auto Focus is fantastic especially useful in video mode. Great ergonomics and easy to use.

As a Youtube creator, I find this camera meet my requirements such as, able to record video continuously for more than 1 hour without over heating, eye autofocus works superbly in video mode.

Quality is expected Sony product. Lack of ant kind of manual is poor customer care. At least a PDF would be expected.

The main reason I bought this camera was I first intended to buy G 16 55 F2.8 with no OSS. A5100 also had no IBIS so I decided to upgrade. The eye auto focus is amazing but can be hard for the camera to track for full body portrait shots, especially if the shots are taken vertically. The custom buttons can be customized and made the user an easier time the access certain functions instead of having the dive into menus and sub menus as in A5100.

Trying to connect to Feiyu ak2000s gimbal not success. Also there is no playmemmories apps to install in camera, not able to connect via usb as well to install apps.

This is the 9th E Mount APS-C Sony camera that I have used and it is, without doubt, the best of them. Is it perfect? No, it has some niggling flaws but none of them detract fully from the camera. Chief amongst these is the lack of a joystick which would be a really useful addition to the camera. Whilst the current methods for fixing the focal point work well (once you get used to them) a joystick is becoming the norm on cameras at this price point. Secondly, effective in camera processing is also something that one expects for a camera at this level. Thirdly, for those of us who shoot in B&W it would be nice to have other monochrome options (such as those offered by Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus). On the positive side, the focusing on this camera is class leading. The new 2.8 G master lens makes the most of that focussing capability. Add to this the image stabilisation and the weather sealing and it is clear that this line of E mount cameras has come of age and it is the first one that I would certainly recommend - I liked it enough to order a second body and so I am not certain that I can give it a stronger endorsement (despite the niggles)

We have been using phone to do video record. A6600 improved so much and it bigger battery really helps in our recording and there are so much potential we would like to explore woth a6600.

I'm pleased with the product. Have yet to fully utilise the capability.

For the size of the sensor, the image quality is very good. The camera build is also very good. The features are as good as a top end camera. The handling isn’t bad, but takes a little time to get use to. The view find good, as is the image information. Cons The program menu is bit bit long winded and I’m still find it slow to change setting, although this will get better as I get use to the menu. They camera isn’t rain poof. Overall a good camera for it price Am I going to replace replace my Nikon D750 and D850 for the Sony’s cameras. I’m really not sure as it’s a lot of money to replace all the lenses on top of the camera. I purchased this camera as a try out the menu which I’m still a bit unsure about.

upgraded from a6000 which was good but this model is superb

Excellent focus tracking , very good image and video quality. Lovely skin tone

Great still image quality, very good even in low light, amazing auto-focus capabilities, great video capabilities. Very sturdy build. Needs a UHS-II type SD card slot or faster card type - The camera outperforms the card write speed. Still has really bad battery drain even when turned off - That's a problem from the original a6000 that still hasn't been fixed. 4/5 stars because Sony could easily fix these flaws and they should on their top of the line APS-C camera.

Bought 2 weeks ago and works flawless with Sony Alpha SAM/SSM lenses with an LA-EA3 adapter. Even focus and eye tracking appears to work. Only thing having moved from an A77II to this, just wished Sony would had put an APSC sensor in an A7/9 body.

Stabilizer is not good enough as I expected. I shoud choose a6400 than a6600

Good if you have a lot of money. Otherwise, go Full-Frame A7III with that minor price difference. As a beginner to video production, I purchased it thinking that APSC is the same as full frame. However, that's a large misconception. On APSC, you can perhaps go 1600 ISO before video noise makes your footage undesirable to you. On a full-frame camera like A7III, perhaps 3200 ISO. On the latest A7SIII, even up to 16,000. Imagine that. 16,000 ISO. With that knowledge in mind, if you know you won't ever want to upgrade to full frame for that low-light video capability - then the A6600 is a good buy. APSC lenses like Sigma are really affordable and amazing. However. If you know you'd have the slightest voice inside you that low light video shooting is something that'll pull at your heart strings, invest in a full frame camera. The full frame lenses you start investing in will get you really far. Look at the A7SIII. That's 10-bit 4:2:2 4K 120FPS. That's a camera that allows you to go 16,000 ISO with good footage. If your budget doesn't allow you to get the A7SIII anytime soon, then if you're looking at the A6600 - with a bit of increase in budget, that'll get you the A7III which is a legendary workhorse for a consumer-friendly mirrorless camera.
