Before you start
Some smartphones may require specific adjustments to properly connect to the headphones. Check and update your smartphone's settings as needed.
Hint: The names of the settings displayed on the connected smartphone may vary depending on the smartphone model (e.g., Detect USB device or Enable USB On-The-Go connection). For details, refer to your smartphone's operating instructions.
Workaround
If there is no sound from your smartphone after changing its settings, or if you do not see any USB device-related options in the smartphone's Settings menu, check the following:
- Make sure the USB Type-C® plug is fully inserted into the smartphone's USB port.
Hint: If your smartphone has a protective case attached and the issue persists, remove the case and check the connection again. - Check if the smartphone's audio output setting is set to the headphones.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C plug from the smartphone and reconnect it.
- Adjust the volume on both the headphones and the smartphone.
- Connect the USB Type-C plug directly to the smartphone, without using any conversion connectors.
