How to record (check-out) audio data in a playlist to a MiniDisc?

    Recording (check-out) of audio data in a playlist to a MiniDisc.

    Below are some precautions when recording (check-out) audio data in a playlist to a MiniDisc.

    1. Make sure that the accidental erase protection switch of the MiniDisc is not set to the position of Accidental Erase Protection before checking out a song in the playlist.
    2. A song with playback limitation (for example, a song downloaded through the EMD service) cannot be checked-out to the MiniDisc.
    3. In the following cases, songs cannot be checked-out to the MiniDisc and an error message will appear.
    - If the free space of the MiniDisc is smaller than that of the song to be checked-out
    - If the song to be checked-out exceeds the limited number of check-outs
    4. Do not remove the MiniDisc from the Net MD drive during check-out.
    5. During check-out, the computer neither moves into the standby mode (hibernation) nor activates a screen saver using its timer.

    Please refer to the steps below to check-out all songs in a playlist:
    1. Start SonicStage Ver.1.5.
    2. Insert a MiniDisc to check-out a song into the Net MD drive.
    3. Click Show List and click on the playlist to check-out songs.
    4. Click Change Check-out and select the transfer mode.
    5. Click Check-Out All.

    Please refer to the steps below to check-out a favorite song in a playlist:
    1. Start SonicStage Ver.1.5.
    2. Insert a MiniDisc to check-out a song into the Net MD drive.
    3. Click Show List and click on the playlist to check-out songs.
    4. Click Change Check-out and select the transfer mode.
    5. Click the song to be checked-out.
    Note: To check out multiple songs at a time, hold theCTRL key while selecting the songs.
    6. Click Change Check-out and select the transfer mode.
    7. Click Check-Out.

    Additional Information on setup of transfer mode (Net MD)

    Standard transfer mode (Sound quality/Transfer speed preferred Transfer)
    - This mode allows user to check-out a song in the ATRAC3 format in a playlist to a MiniDisc as it is.
    Whether the song is checked-out in the LP2 Stereo or LP4 Stereo mode depends on its bit rate as per the table below
